Hello, everyone. Last few months I don't have enough time to watch new movies. So, I'll write a review of one of the films that had had the biggest impact on me, in the past. Yes, this film was the first zombie movie that I ever saw. And at that time it was scary as fuck for me (I was 12-years-old). And even now, I think this film is much better than 99% of today's zombie movies.
The plot is based on H.P. Lovecraft novel "Herbert West - Reanimator", but as always in Hollywood, the movie had very little linked with an original story. Actually, I don't want to make spoilers here, so, I will tell you only a few things. This film about an insane scientist, who invented the method to reanimate dead. And the main villain, Jeffrey Combs (a.k.a. Herbert West) is awesome, during watching the film it is very simple to believe that he is an absolutely crazy fucker. This is a good example of the really cool villain from the horror movie.
The visual effect could look very old by today's standards, but if you are the fan of CJI, go and watch next shit from Disney. This film is for people who appreciate old-school horror films.
I don't know about you, but I'll watch this film soon.
